Simon Gattinger
The Simon Gattinger Winery, founded in 2017, is a young company with deep-rooted family traditions dating back to 1912. Simon Gattinger is the fourth generation to vinify wine in the picturesque Loibner Kellergasse, drawing from a wealth of experience passed down from great-grandfather Anton, grandfather Leopold, and father Leo.
Simon's philosophy combines traditional knowledge with innovative ideas. His wines are clear and precise, just like his view of his homeland. The vineyards are cultivated as gently as possible, with hundreds of manual interventions each year ensuring that the vines can develop optimally. This forms the basis for authentic wines that reflect the unique quality and character of the Wachau.
The Simon Gattinger Winery represents a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, with the aim of creating wines for the future that express both the rich history and modern vision of the family business.
